Vacuum Bell Device for Pectus Excavatum

The Klobe Vacuum bell is the first device developed specifically to offer a non-surgical treatment for pectus excavatum by Eckart Klobe who is the inventor, manufacturer and distributor.
The vacuum bell is carefully positioned over the pectus excavatum and suction applied to create a vacuum and bring the breast bone (sternum) forward. To achieve correction of pectus excavatum the wear time of the vacuum bell should be built up to 2 hours each day.
It may be necessary to use the vacuum bell for at least 12 months although this will be individual to each child or young person.
