At your chest wall clinic appointment, your child may be seen by a Senior Orthotist, Senior Physiotherapist, Psychologist or Consultant Surgeon.
Your appointment may be face-to-face or via video consultation. Many appointments will be using Attend Anywhere which is the video call system for the NHS.

Please ensure that your child is dressed in a top that is easy to remove so that the Chest Wall Team can easily examine their chest.
Depending on the underlying problem, your child may also receive an X-Ray, Clinical Photographs, 3D Scan or plaster cast mould of their chest. Any images will be held in their patient record but may also be used anonymously for teaching and publications with your permission. We will also hold a record of your child as part of a secure database.
